Since we talk about it so much, thought I'd make a list. This will be constantly updated and evolved, so heres the most basic version.

FURTHERMORE NOTE: Some styles name changes upon reaching a advanced level. They are slightly different from the base described here. However, I can't really write about advanced variations. Basic Alphabet Strikes-
Art-Fancily Held two handed style, essentially two ASL 'Rock on' hand, so only middle and right holding the blade. It has more power than speed, but both are relatively in the 'moderate' range. Powerful blows used against it can be dangerous, as the blade can be knocked out the users hand.
Lock Keeper- Description...In progress... A very advanced, almost psychologically fought and used form of combat, otherwise hard to describe...
Cane-Blade held upside down in a punching style. Fast jabs and movement to seek in weakness, very fast. Body is held sideways. Cane style can sometimes also disarm the opponent. Due to its speed and short move recovery time, cane can get past most guards with less struggle than other styles. However its weakness is it has no powerful block, and your 'centerline' however side stance fixes that. Sister style to 'tonfa'. Tonfa-Blade held horizontally and 'reverse'. Primarily able to block powerful with horizontal blocks and quicks jabs. However, if used Aggressively, it can 'smash' straight through the opponent blocks, emphasizing constant power. One must have large amounts shoulder and hand strength to use. Weakness' reside low sweeps, as it can block them quick enough usually, and around thrusts and jabs, such as fencing. Sister style to 'cane'. ((Style still in developmental stages))
Chi- Very flowing style, literally no disconnect between strikes. Not fast or particularly powerful, but its simple uninterrupted moves are dangerous. However it can be used as a speed style, and gain speed parallel to cane or Form VII, while still keeping its 'connections'. However this comes at a cost, as it loses most of its power when doing this. Its main weakness resides around blade locks, which it has no ability to stand against. ((Style still in developmental stages))
Sticky- Like its namesake, stick sticks to the opponents blade, applying small amounts of pressure. If the opponents blade is withdrawn, the stickier follows them in. This can confuse the opponent, allowing for a quick jab in. Its main weakness is it has no speed and can be vulnerable to quick jabs like cane.
Slider- Titled appropriately. Slider focuses on sliding up, down and all around, and is fast and dangerous. They also sometimes seek to pressure the blade into awkward positions so they can slide in. However the user is at risk just to the general proximity to the opponent.
Jumper- The user focuses on jumping and bouncing, only on the ground to launch again, focuses on high strikes. Quite fast, however its power is not great. Seeks to get around the opponent to their backs. Lower body is weakness area though, and ones legs can be taken out from under them. Ex: Yoda from Star Wars
Reverse- The blade is held in 'reverse' hand, and is the basis for all other 'reverse' styles. Its movement are based on figure eights, fast and powerful. The user often always is spinning themselves to build more speed. However if the strikes are 'disrupted' it can be in trouble. Ex: Adi Gallia from Star Wars
Backer- Unusual style in which the user practically fights backwards, facing away from the opponent. It has surprising maneuvers and decent speed and power. Quick darts are its weakness, as it has limited vision range and can't always respond fast enough.
Drunken- Odd style in which the user fights very fluidly, and stumbles about, as if drunk. However they draw power from this and can strike quickly, suddenly and unexpectedly. Very hard to perform. However if there power is rediverted, they can have issues.
Lever- One handed is held lightly at the top of the blade, and the other is used to push the blade in directions, the upper hand acting as a lever. The main weakness is it can't build lots of speed and its momentum can get ahead of itself.
Fencer- Body is held sideways, and one is always moving forward, NEVER back, and it making quicks jabs in and out, never commiting too much to one strike... The main weakness is that if the opponent fights offensively back fencer doesn't have a lot of defense, nor the ability to move around to quickly. Ex: Any fencer...
Bat- The blade is held like a baseball bat, hands very close to each other. Huge powerful strikes are its main basis. Its weakness is that its open to attacks afterwards. ((NOTE: FORBIDDEN STYLE, it causes lots of accidents, and has no finesse whatsoever, so we wont use it, neither shall you)) (Just thought you should know ;) )
Speech- A unique style which is not particularly based on its movements, but rather was the user is doing. The user focuses on distracting their opponent by any means necessary. Often singing, or making jokes or taunting is employed. Sometimes frowned upon, but very effective. Its main weakness is that one does lose a little concentration on the actual fighting, and are rarely proficient, so can get killed if the other person isn't distracted.
Saber Staff- This blade is different that it has two blades, one at each of the hilt. This allows it to be a great two on one blade, and has lots of aggressive abilities going for it. Often one blade blocks in one direction which allows the other blade to spin in to strike. However its centerline is its weakness, and it can't cover it unlike other styles. Ex: Darth Maul, Star Wars I
Dual- Two blades, one in each hand. There are three distinct varieties of using it...
Tap- The user holds the blade one handed, and using wide sweeps to hit the opponents blade. Upon making contact of the blades, the user quickly removes and puts back their blade, creating a small tap. User is often darting in and out on their feet, balancing mainly on the back heel. Eventually momentum can be built that knocks the opponents blade away. Main weakness is such forms as sticky, or close range fighting, as it can no longer due wide swings.
ShiiCho/Form I- The most basic of forms, this is the form you learn initially but also very powerful. Its known as lumbering and dogged, never giving up. Its main power is that its raw, and untamed, known for movements that others can't predict. It also seeks to disarm the opponent. It tries cut off all angles of attack and defense, so the opponent is closed in on themselves. Its main weakness is that its simple, but also its strength. Truly complex maneuvers can overwhelm this style, but its still strong. Ex: Kit Fisto Episode II Star Wars
Makashi/Form II- Elegant and precise, Form II is the dueler's style, for those that love precision. This form focuses on thrust, and small precise cuts. Its very complex and harder to learn. This is only taught if one wishes it. Focuses on balance, back-and-forth strikes, thrusts, and sudden retreats. Also has many flourishes of moving the saber in a circular pattern without spinning it. Its main weaknesses is that can not be used against multiple opponent, and cant counter powerful strikes. Ex: Count Dooku Star Wars
Soresu/Form III- Form III, requires maintaining a constant shield of deflectionary strokes by making short, quick sweeps, close to the body. One stays out of the combat, and doesn't feel the heat of battle, rather remaining cool and calm. Its main attack is all defensive, not even parrying, just blocking. It waits till the opponent has run out of energy, or leaves an opening, and goes in for a quick strike, and then retreats back into defensive posture. It emphasises fast reflexes and quick transitions. It also seeks to figure out the opponents style and seek weaknesses. The main disadvantages that a momentary lapse in concentration can spell doom for the user. Its more main weakness is that due to its defensive tactics and emphasis, it will actually rarely score a point, and will not always win, instead ending in a tie, or just gone too long to make a decision. ( (You can tell Illusion likes this one ;) )) Ex: Obi-wan Kenobi in Episodes II, and III from Star Wars. (Not Episode I)
Ataru/Form IV: An aggressive style, form IV is fast-paced and effective against single opponents. Its characterized by acrobatic maneuvers, such as body spins, leaps and jumps and runs. Wide, fast and constant swings are used by this form, but often full body turns or turning blades are its main trait. Its main weakness is it cant handle small spaces, where it can't spin, and its defensive abilities are not amazing. Ex: Obi-wan Episode I Star Wars
Shien/DjemSo/Form V: Form V requires a higher level of physical strength than the other lightsaber forms, due to its focus on complete domination of opponents. Immediately after defending against an opponent's strike, a DjemSo stylist will follow with an attack of their own, bringing the force of the opponent's blow against them and seeking to dominate the duel. DjemSo places a heavy focus on pure power, with spinning, powerful strikes and parries followed by a counterattack. Its also known for its stepping strikes. Its main weakness is that it sometimes leaves itself open. If the initially strike doesn't work, then a wise opponent can quickly seek in after the attack and finish the Form V user. Ex: Anakin Skywalker Star Wars
Niman/Form VI: Form VI attempts to balance all elements of combat, combing techniques of all the other forms. Its seeks to take a blending of styles and achieve a nice round style. It also uses the surroundings to its advantage, seeking to push someone into to something, or put them in corner. It was also adaptable to different areas, and is not often troubled by surroundings, an can fight in any position. Its main weakness is the same as its strength. Due to a balance, it has no dramatic strengths, and sometimes can not defend well enough, or strike well enough depending on the opponents usage. Ex: Luke Skywalker Star Wars
Juyo/Vaapad/Form VII: Uses seemingly free-wheeling and open movements, but with utter control on the part of the wielder. The end result, if practiced correctly, is a very unpredictable style. The staccato swings and flow of the form make it seem as if the attacks aren't linked—but in reality, its merely confusing the opponent. Form VII is aggressive and powerful, but its power comes at great risk: immersion in Form VII opens the gates that restrain one's inner fury. To use Form VII, a person must allow himself to enjoy the fight; he must give himself over to the thrill of battle. The rush of winning. Due to this factor, one can sometimes be blind to trickery and more subtle attacks. If one becomes to into it, you will not notice the surroundings, which can put Form VII in a serious spot. Ex: Mace Windu Star Wars Episode II and III

They will be listed with 'name', 'codenames' used for anominimity, people who are not mutual friends or not at NNG. ((Codenames will consist of three letters)) After name will be the semi-informal ranking. After that will be 'primary' styles.
Illusion-1st Master- Form III (Switching to Form V). Lock Keeper (sole user). Hidden Dagger. Aggressive-staff. Tonfa. (( Also teacher... and Jack-of-all-Trades))-Notes-Likes to teach. Has never been a balanced fighter. Currently is all defense that is very hard to strike through. However will be switching to more aggressive, powerful styles for a change. Is switching to Form V for primary. Experimenting with Tonfa and Chi, and various other forms.
FAF-1st Master- Form I. Backwards. Speech. Balanced Dual. Balanced Staff. ((Has taught somewhat. ))-Notes- Used to be one of the best. However due to distance and no one to train with, skills have diminished, but will always keep rank. Illusion hopes to re-kindle the skills of her friend this summer.
Dark-2nd Master- Form VI. Sticky. Balanced Dual. Balanced Staff. Cane. ((Also teacher... Somewhat of a jack-of-all-trades))-Notes-Balanced fighter, very good at teaching because of it. Also has utter control, and will never tag the opponent unless it is intended. Currently teaching several people. will be experimenting with Chi, Cane and Form II.
DDK-3rd Master- Form II. Fencing. Broad Dual. Hidden Dagger. Slider. ((Has taught somewhat. ))-Notes-Very aggressive, powerful fighter. Enjoys much of the thrill of battle, and winning. However when calm, has very fast reflexes. Often lacks control, and hurts the opponents hand, numbing it.

RMG-Adept- Form V. Reverse. Dual Balance. Staff Defensive. ((Close to achieving master))-Notes-A master of reverse, far out-doing any of the masters, including Illusion and Dark, in its use. Also has a decent form V.
ING-Adept- Form VII. Reverse. Dual Broad. Staff Aggressive. ((Has gotten better over time))-Notes-Sometimes can be a bit joky in battle, emphasizing speech style, but not neccessarily 'meaning' to do so. Has a very unpredictable, and random style that can surprise anyone.
DLS-Adept- Form IV. Slider. Jumper. Dual Balanced. Staff Aggressive. (( Has quickly climbed ranks. Related to Dark. ))-Notes-Very powerful slider, can quickly take you down if one is not prepared. Learned slider in half an hour, with focused training by Illusion, still suprised everyone with fast learning.

Broad- The blades are used if there is just one large blade, moving in the same direction at the same time. Tremendous power and decent speed, however they are left open at the end of the strike. Ex: Zuko from Avatar the last Airbender
Hidden Dagger- A unique style in which only one blade is mainly used, the other blade hidden behind the users body. Requires tremendous defense, and knowledge of openings. The user blocks with their primary repeatedly, and upon seeing an opening strikes in with the hidden one. If knowledge of defense is low, you'll be quickly finished.
Balance/Jar'Kai- The blades are both used equally much, however distinctly seperate. Often one blade is used to parry, while the other one swoops in to attack. A nice balanced dual style. Doesn't have an particularly strong weaknesses, but isn't strong in one particular trait either.

Dark-2nd Master- Form VI. Sticky. Balanced Dual. Balanced Staff. Cane. ((Also teacher... Somewhat of a jack-of-all-trades))-Notes-Balanced fighter, very good at teaching because of it. Also has utter control, and will never tag the opponent unless it is intended. Currently teaching several people. will be experimenting with Chi, Cane and Form II.
DDK-3rd Master- Form II. Fencing. Broad Dual. Hidden Dagger. Slider. ((Has taught somewhat. ))-Notes-Very aggressive, powerful fighter. Enjoys much of the thrill of battle, and winning. However when calm, has very fast reflexes. Often lacks control, and hurts the opponents hand, numbing it.

RMG-Adept- Form V. Reverse. Dual Balance. Staff Defensive. ((Close to achieving master))-Notes-A master of reverse, far out-doing any of the masters, including Illusion and Dark, in its use. Also has a decent form V.
ING-Adept- Form VII. Reverse. Dual Broad. Staff Aggressive. ((Has gotten better over time))-Notes-Sometimes can be a bit joky in battle, emphasizing speech style, but not neccessarily 'meaning' to do so. Has a very unpredictable, and random style that can surprise anyone.
DLS-Adept- Form IV. Slider. Jumper. Dual Balanced. Staff Aggressive. (( Has quickly climbed ranks. Related to Dark. ))-Notes-Very powerful slider, can quickly take you down if one is not prepared. Learned slider in half an hour, with focused training by Illusion, still suprised everyone with fast learning.

DLB-Newbie- Form IV. Jumper. Staff Aggressive. Dual Balanced. ((Related to Dark. ))-Notes: Loves to jump and do high strikes, getting back behind the opponent. Lately embodies 'jumper' style.
